WATER
Lightly hosing the turf with water will remove any dirt and dust
to keep it looking vibrant. During the summer months you will
want to spray the turf with water before going on it barefoot
because synthetic turf doesn’t retain moisture, it can get very
hot from extreme Texas heat.
MAINTENANCE & TURF CARE
BRUSH OR RAKE
Brushing the turf keeps the turf blades standing up.
Frequent foot traffic and heavy furniture can cause the
blades to slant down and lose its firmness. A push broom or
turf rake will suffice.
INFILL
Upon installation, we add infill to keep the blades standing
up. You will need to add more infill over time. The amount
of infill required depends on the usage. Generally we
recommend adding more infill every few years.
PET CARE
For the Furry Kids
If you’re a pet owner, there are a few other considerations. Feces
should be picked up often and if there is residue, the turf should
also be rinsed. The sun will naturally disinfect the area but we
also recommend using a deodorizer solution (Uricide or K9 Zap),
especially if you experience foul odors from urine.
